Our main man, Josh Kerr, had a big 3rd place finish in Rio, putting him into the number 2 spot in the ASP Men’s World Rankings and in a solid number 3 spot for the ASP World Title! It looks like the ASP judging criteria has finally caught up with Kerr’s progressive surfing, which could mean trouble for his WCT counterparts. Game on!

Congratulations to Rusty Surfboards test pilot, Rick Takahashi, who finished off the 2011-12 Southwest Conference Explorer Season collecting his 5th straight Masters title and 4th straight Seniors title. His 5 Masters conference titles ties the SW consecutive seasons record with Courtney Conlogue who claimed 5 straight SW Open Women’s titles!
